Thanks for another great issue of PIR - the new look is great, but this cover wasn't as aesthetic as usual...

When is Peter Sirr's last issue? (And who is the next editor going to be??)

Maria Johnston's review of Boland was great - the title Interiority Complex says it all really. Boland just rehashing the same old stuff and selling it as new?

Hi George,

Thanks for the support and kind words about the Review. I'm going to move your comments on Boland into general discussion and see if anyone else would like to comment.

No Hassle. Any idea who the next editor is going to be and what they'll be looking for in terms of poems?

Hi George,

Peter Sirr is editing the next issue and will be succeeded by Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin in issue 92 (the last issue for the year)We're looking forward to seeing Eiléan's first issue - that should give us all a very good idea on the type of work she is looking for. Click here for submission guidelines

Hope this helps.

I may be overlooking the info elsewhere, but is there a submission deadline for the next issue?

Excellent site re-design BTW! :)

Hi PJ,

There is no deadline for submissions to PIR - we accept all year round. The editor, Peter Sirr, has finished reading for issue 91 and our new editor, Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin, has already begun reading new submissions for issue 92.

Thanks for the comments on the new site - we like it too. :)
