The indulgent delights of both coffee and deliciously decadent chocolate have been a source of inspiration for many great poets. Poetry Ireland and Butlers Chocolate Cafés are delighted to team up once again to give you a taste of some great coffee and chocolate-themed poetry on Poetry Day Ireland, 27 April 2017.
Just pop into any one of the 19 Butlers Chocolate Cafés around the country and select a free, beautifully presented poetry card to take away and cherish, in addition to your free delicious chocolate treat. To top it off, customers who recite a poem when ordering on Poetry Day Ireland will be treated to an extra fee chocolate!
Since Butlers Chocolate was founded in 1932, it has striven to bring a little happiness to the world one chocolate at a time. Because nothing complements happiness better than coffee, in 1998 the very first Butlers Chocolate Café was opened in a beautiful corner of Wicklow Street in Dublin’s city centre.
The Butlers Chocolate Café concept was a resounding success with Dubliners and tourists and soon more cafés followed. Since 1998, 18 Butlers Chocolate Cafés have opened in Ireland, as well as five in Pakistan, five in New Zealand and one in Dubai Airport.
So why not visit your nearest Butlers Chocolate Café on 27 April and enjoy great poetry on top of your warm Butlers welcome.
