Free Resources 2017

Venues, libraries, bookshops, promoters, and anyone wishing to get involved in Poetry Day Ireland can take advantage of our great selection of free resources, including gorgeous Pocket Poems cards to distribute and share, posters to display, Poetry Day brochures, and Library/Bookshop Display packs. The deadline for requesting print materials has now passed, but you can download PDFs of our materials below.

Pocket Poems

Once again we'll be printing thousands of poems on gorgeous pocket-sized cards to distribute around the country for our Pocket Poems Campaign on 27 April 2017. You can pick up your favorite Pocket Poem, pass it on or share on Twitter using the hashtag #PoetryDayIRL. Or you'll be able to join in the celebration by downloading our Pocket Poems to read and share.

Bookshop & Library Display Pack

We'd love bookshops and libraries to display poetry in a prominent location in the weeks leading up to 27 April 2017. Contact us to request a Bookshop and Library Promoter Pack which includes A2 posters, bespoke Poetry Day Ireland display cards for highlighting and reviewing "staff poetry picks", a bumper packet of Pocket Poems cards and Poetry Day brochures.

Classroom Poetry Posters for schools

Download posters for primary schools based on Hopscotch in the Sky, a collection of poems for young readers by Lucina Jacob with illustrations by Lauren O’Neill, which will be published by Little Island Books and Poetry Ireland on 5 October 2017.
