			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Annual Summer School of the <strong>Irish Centre for Poetry Studies</strong> will this year focus on poetic representations of Italy and the role that Italy has played in the West&#8217;s imagination from antiquity to the present day. Programme themes include <strong>Imperium: Rome as Imagination of Ourselves</strong>; <strong>Traveller or Tourist &#8211; How to <em>be</em> in Italy when writing about Italy</strong>; <strong>Romantic Italies -  Sex and Death with Goethe, Shelley and Byron</strong>; and <strong>Dreams and Disillusion &#8211; Contemporary Italy and Poetry</strong>. The venue is the Mater Dei Institute (DCU), Clonliffe Rd, D3, on 20-21 June.<br />
