Poetry Ireland aims to provide as much information and resources for both new and established poets as possible. We cover everything from assessments and writers workshops to readings, copyright and general literary chit-chat.

We also offer general support on anything to do with poetry in Ireland; from event advice, contacting poets or just what books to read.

If you're looking for a poem or have a query about events, getting published or anything you think we might be able to help with - drop us a line. By email, on twitter, facebook or call into our offices at 32 Kildare St, Dublin 2, from 10.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Austin Clarke at the Poetry Ireland Library

A selection of the Poetry Ireland Library is now housed at UCD Special Collections, with more than 5,000 volumes, most of which were once part of Austin Clarke’s private library. The Poetry Ireland Library also contains a significant amount of material that belonged to Irish poet and UCD lecturer John Jordan, and to Dutch critic Tanya Touwen.

Click for more details about visiting the collection. You can download the full collection listing here.
