Writing Love in the 21st Century with Theo Dorgan

“Love is all there is”, Bob Dylan sings, “it makes the world go ‘round.” Well, love manifests in many ways – love of a father for his daughter, a mother for her son, a man or a woman for their lover. But there’s love of place, too, of pets, your country, your neighbour. Love is the thing, and not as easy to write about or express as people sometimes think. That’s what this workshop will focus on – how to write love. Not for beginners. Theo Dorgan is a poet, novelist, prose writer, editor and translator, among other things.
Venue: Irish Writers Centre, Dublin 1
Time: Saturday @ 10.30am-4.30pm
