Pop-Up Writers' Retreat in West Cork

Run by West Cork College, this is an exclusive week long retreat with a focus on finishing your writing, whether it is poetry, drama or fiction.

Prices start at €385 p.p. sharing and include three workshops with established authors, all your meals, and accommodation.

Kinlough Women's Writing Group with Monica Corish

A ginko is a haiku-writing walk, usually held to celebrate nature at a special time of the season, so what better occasion than to celebrate the book festival.

The first Mountains to Sea ginko will be led by poet and novelist Anatoly Kudryavitsky.

The series of events at Poetry Now @ dlr Book Festival concludes with a celebration of one of Wales's most famous poets Dylan Thomas.

A panel of Welsh and Irish writers will discuss the man, his poetry and his legacy. The panel includes Menna Elfyn, Nessa O'Mahony and Nerys Williams. The discussion will be chaired by Siobhán Parkinson, whose PhD is on the poetry of Dylan Thomas.
