Fíon Ceol agus Filíoct

Poetry Ireland in association with the Irish Writers’ Centre and Limited Edition presents the launch of two CDs: Fíon Ceol agus Filíoct – a selection of original and favourite poems read by Paddy Finnegan and plus an interview with poet Paddy Finnegan conducted on CD by Aidan O’Dowd. The launch will be presided over by Macdara Woods alongside guest musicians.

Éigse na Tríonóide

Éigse na Tríonóide presents the launch of the Selected Poems of Flemish poet Germain Droogenbroodt and the Selected Poems of Indian poet K. Satchidanandan.

The Irish-language versions by Gabriel Rosenstock of these poets will be briefly introduced by Dr Mícheál Ó hAodha, University of Limerick, who will also launch Rosenstock's latest English-language title The Pleasantries of Krishnamurphy (Non-Duality Press)

Grand Guignol: four theatrical thrillers

Mermaid’s theatre artist in residence Ciarán Taylor presents readings of Irish adaptations by Mia Gallagher and Carpet Theatre of three short French plays from the Grand Guignol, followed by Salmon a new play about a supernatural fish bringing havoc to a failing restaurant in a failing country.
