Competitions

Rubies in the Darkness Annual Poetry Competition is an open poetry competition.  Poems of any length on any subject, which must be typed.  Your name and address should not appear on the poems but should be enclosed, with the titles of your entries, on a separate sheet of paper marked 'ANNUAL COMPETITION'.

Entries £3.00 per poem, cheques payable to 'P.G. Thompson' and crossed 'not transferable'.  (USA $6.00 per poem, UK Pound Sterling cheques/ US dollar notes and Australian dollar notes).

The top three poems are guaranteed publication in 'RUBIES IN THE DARKNESS' poetry magazine, and there will be an 'Honours List' of the top ten poems.  Also Highly Commended and Commended listings.  Book Prizes for top 3.

Results available in December.  For notification of results please send SAE marked 'RESULTS' in the top left hand corner.
