Molly Keane Creative Writing Award 2018

Since 1998 the Arts Office has been running the Molly Keane Creative Writing Award, an annual Creative Writing Award to celebrate the rich literary life of the late Molly Keane.

This is an open competition for people resident on the island of Ireland for a short story. The limit for each piece is 2000 words. There is no entry fee.

The closing date for receipt of entries is Thursday 15th March 2018 at 12 noon. Late submissions will not be accepted. HARD COPIES ONLY will be accepted. 

It is a condition of entry that the winner will be required to attend a presentation ceremony during the IMMRAMA Literary Festival in Lismore, Co. Waterford on Saturday 16th June 2018. The winner will be requested to read their winning story at this ceremony. €500 and a commemorative scroll will be awarded to the winner.
