What is a haiku? | Cad is haiku ann?
The haiku (plural haiku) is a short form of poetry, which originated in Japan in the 17th Century, first refined and championed by haiku master Basho. It’s the shortest poetic form in the world. Haiku poems are usually written in three lines and contain a maximum of seventeen syllables.
Díríonn an haiku traidisiúnta ar an dúlra agus ar shéasúir na bliana. Is é is senryū ann ná haiku éadrom a dhíríonn ar dhaoine.
