Session Details

I start a class with music or games to start the class to participate and engage in the class.

I usually facilitate active learning in the classroom. Children learn more when they are part of the learning. This could mean they have to write, discuss in class to address a particular topic, theme or writing prompts assigned to them. They can share their work, so they are more engaged in class. Encourage students to talk and perform their poems.

Comprehension & Visualising:

A poem will be read and shared with pupils followed by a discussion.

Encourage students to talk about the poem:

To find out what they think about poetry, brainstorm with students.

what they like and do not like about writing poetry.

Writing Prompts:

Leave time between writing.

Making connections.

Make it FUN!
