Publications/Repertoire/Productions & Background Experience

I work both as a writer and visual artist and often use the visual as a basis for the creation of texts.. I write poetry and short stories and am currently studying for a PhD in Creative Writing. My current creative work explores the relationship between the word and image. I am working on and researching the use of found text and object in the creative process. My writing is a series of textual sequences (poetry / prose) with roots in the found. My work has appeared in or is forthcoming in: The Templar Anthology 2013, Poetry Ireland Review, Stand Magazine, The sHop, Envoi, Cyphers, The Interpreter's House, Iota, Poetry Salzburg, Orbis, West47, The Cork Literary Review, The Cúirt Annual, The Sunday Tribune, Ropes (NUIG), Crannóg, Divas anthology (Arlen House), Noir Stories (Arlen House, forthcoming) Windows Artists & Writers Series, Smoke & Skin, (chapbook with Celeste Augé) was published in 2008 by Lapwing. Session Details

I love to facilitate very practical sessions where students produce texts. I work with word and image both together and separately. I am happy to develop and adjust workshop / class plans depending on the size of the group.
