Session Details

I like to get children writing & creating. Inspiring confidence is my primary aim. In workshops, I focus first on developing the individual voice or style of each participant, then look at the techniques that underpin poetry & stories. I like vivid descriptions & sense of place & I call on students to use their full senses when writing. With larger groups this kind of detailed exploration isn't possible so I liase with teachers to create sessions that are stimulating & inventive. In preference, I like to work with students oever an extended period, but invitations for single visits are welcome.
