Session Details
I am very open to most formats - creative writing workshops, talks and ‘masterclasses’ with smaller groups. I have worked extensively with all age groups, both as a mainstream class teacher ( primary ) and an Instructor with the Centre for Talented Youth (8-17) and also have considerable post primary experience. I am very interested in liaising with class teachers to find the format and topic that best suits a particular class and can enrich or extend their curriculum work. I have also been working with teachers on ways to use creative writing in a mixed ability class.
Age Group Details
Comfortable with all age groups; trained in primary and experience up to Leaving Cert. Although most sessions and workshops are best suited to 3rd class (primary) up to Leaving Cert there are certain sessions which work well with the junior end of the primary age range.
Availability Details
Currently freelance at the moment so timetable relatively flexible as long as booked in advance.
