As well as teaching a course on storytelling in NUI Galway, Rab writes and perform stories, poems and plays for children, teenagers and adults. Rab’s work as a storyteller has built up an international reputation for his vivid re-imagining of the myths, folk tales and urban legends of Ireland and Scotland. As well as telling stories, Rab runs ‘Wonder Tales Workshops’ in which he uses the magical world of fairy tales and folk tales to boost the creativity, confidence and writing abilities of students. He has taught Irish, UK and American students in pre-school, national school, secondary and third level education.
