New Appointments at Poetry Ireland
We're delighted to welcome Megan Johnson as our new Publications Assistant and Eoin Fullston into a new role of Programme and Production Assistant. Megan is an NUIG graduate where she oversaw the production of the 30th edition of ROPES Literary Journal in 2022, launched at Cúirt International Festival of Literature. She has also worked at Literature Ireland and MOLI. Eoin is an actor and producer, a TCD and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama graduate. He tutored on our recent Introductions/ Céadlínte programme. We look forward to working with both Megan and Eoin to realise and expand our programmes in the coming year.
Bios
Megan Johnson joins as Publications Assistant. She oversaw the production of the 30th edition of ROPES Literary Journal in 2022, launched at Cúirt International Festival of Literature, as the assistant managing editor. She has worked as production assistant for the Irish stand at both the London and Frankfurt Book Fairs via Literature Ireland. Her role at the Museum of Literature Ireland has enabled her to continue professional development in digital projects and community engagement. She is keen to progress her career in publishing and looks forward to working with the Poetry Ireland team to support and expand our publications programme.
Eoin joins us as Programme and Production Assistant. He has a first-class honours degree in Drama and Theatre Studies from Trinity College Dublin, where he gained experience in production management and coordination. He furthered his training as an artist receiving a distinction in his Masters in Acting at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. With a proven history of consistent, reliable and harmonious engagement on all projects, he is very excited to be working with Poetry Ireland.
