Bright Ideas: Home: Class, Belonging and The Politics of Place

Flux Art Studios, Dublin 2

Home: Class, Belonging and the Politics of Place is a live Poetry Day Ireland 2026 event taking place at the Flux Art Studios D2 classroom workshop space on Thursday, 28th May 2026 (7–9pm).

Led by Elayne Adamczyk Harrington and Karl Parkinson, with guest poets Polina Cosgrave, Dave Lordan, The Vagabond Queen, and Joseph Cunningham, the event explores class, identity, and belonging through poetry performance and panel discussion.

At the centre of the programme is the duet Yer Not From The Same Class As Me, which acts as a starting point for a wider conversation on lived experience, culture, and what it means to feel at home.

This participatory event invites audiences into a shared space of poetry, dialogue, and reflection.
