Bright Ideas: Words on Wheels

Life Cycles Outdoors, Ebrington Square, Derry

In partnership with Poetry Ireland / Éigse Éireann Bright Ideas Bursary and Life Cycles Ireland

Join us for a unique evening of poetry in motion as we cycle together across the city, stopping for live poetry performances inspired by the theme of Home.

Hosted by Cat Brogan Words on Wheels combines a gentle guided bike ride with poetry pit stops at locations around Derry — with opportunities along the way for participants to share their own work (or favourite poems) as part of our open “bike”.

🚲 Bikes provided

🌦 Slow-paced | Mostly off-road | Open to all abilities

🧥 Please dress for the weather and bring a rain jacket just in case!

No poetry or cycling experience needed (beyond being able to ride) — just come along, listen, ride and take part.
