Come along and join a gathering of writers, reciters, listeners and musicians to celebrate May Day at Portumna Castle on Thursday, 1st May.
Glad Voices is a gathering of local writers and creatives sharing their voices in celebration of Poetry Day Ireland at Portumna Castle. Surrounded by words, all are welcome to bring a favourite poem, pen a few lines or join in the songs on the day. And all will go home with a wee gift for your own garden, compliments of our local Active Retirement Group.
With a warm cuppa from the castle café, and a tune from local musicians, this event will put a spring into everyone's step. Music with singer/songwriter, Ru OShea.
