Town Poem Unveiling

An evening of poetry readings by our Poet Laureate Anne Walsh Donnelly who will unveil her specially commissioned poem about the town. 

Anne will be joined by Galway based poet Geraldine Mills and local poet Caitlín Ni Oireachtaigh who will read the Irish translation of the new poem. 

The event will be launched by Cathaoirleach of Comhairle Contae Mhaigh Eo Cllr Michael Smyth.  There will be musical interludes provided by the local branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
