Build a PoeTree with Ellen Foley

  • 13 September, 3.30-4.30pm
  • Seán Healy Memorial Library Gardens

Build a Poetree: Reading poems with children, children will select their favourite poem, circle their favourite word(s) or verbalise what they love about the poem. Children will write their favourite word(s) and/or draw imagery from the poem on paper leaves and together hang on the poetree.

Ages: 5-12 years old

The 8’ tree was crafted by Men's Shed, Carrick on Suir for the children in the Presentation Primary School. The School kindly gave us a loan of the Tree for Poetry Town week.
