This Beginner's Poetry Workshop with Dublin 1 Poet Laureate Rachael Hegarty is for adults from all walks of life with an interest in writing their first poem.
Led by Dublin 1's Poetry Town Poet Laureate Rachael Hegarty, participants at this in-person workshop in Parnell Square will explore the basic ingredients of a poem, and take part in exercises to fire up creativity in a fun, encouraging environment. If you've never written a poem before, but are interested in dipping your toe into the water, this workshop is for you!
This workshop is taking place in person at Poetry Ireland, 11 Parnell Square East, Dublin 1. Strict COVID-19 Health & Safety protocols will be in place to ensure the safety of all participants. Participants will be sent on details in advance of the workshop, and asked to complete a COVID-19 assessment form prior to attending.
