Haiku Workshop & Ginko

Haiku is perhaps the best travelled of all world literary genres with millions of adherents writing this short-form poetry every day. This short workshop with Mike Gallagher will examine what makes (and does not make) haiku; how to write haiku; where we get inspiration for writing haiku; aha moments and how to find them, and the sometimes life-enhancing rewards to be gained from this most absorbing form. The workshop will involve a Ginko – a short haiku walk – during which participants will, hopefully, find inspiration. Whether we do, or not, we will certainly find a new way of looking at life.
