Faerie Press
Faerie Press is a children's publishing venture based in Belfast, but working across the island of Ireland. Faerie Press is Ireland's first LGBTQ+ children's publishing house. Our members are LGBTQ+, and we aim to bring inclusive stories and voices to the homes, schools and families of children who want to explore the imagination of story-telling! We set out to create and spotlight quality and entertaining children’s literature. We created our platform to enable marginalised and under-represented identities to be heard in a thoughtful, engaging way. As a collaborative, community focused organisation, we take our knowledge, experience and passion for literature with us as we go!
