A music-inspired creative writing session with writer Jessica Brown

Motifs, cadence, crescendos, emotions, memories, and the imaginary; a beautiful tradition exists between music and writing. This creative writing session will offer a series of prose and poetry prompts exploring the experiences of music put to words.

The workshop will take place on Saturday 4 April 10am - 1pm at the Limerick Writers’ Centre, 12 Barrington St., Limerick

With degrees in English and theology, Jessica Brown is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Limerick. Her publications include an essay in the book Jane Austen and the Arts, articles in Journal for Spiritual Formation and Soul Care, as well as the children’s novel The River Boy and several short stories and creative nonfiction essays.
